Roc is an educational institution for the MBO College Centrum in Amsterdam, specialized in a wide range of fields, such as tourism, horeca, technology etc.
The school's goal was to create a movie able to excite the viewers (target group 15+) whilst giving all the details of the different courses, in order to get new students for next year's courses.
Whilst working closely with the videomaker and the school's communication department, my first duty was to create a storyline and hand-made illustrations that would be later used for the animations for the promotional film of their tourism department, which they portray the school's teachers travelling to different courses around the city of Amsterdam.
The final step was to animate the illustrations and to create the intro, outro and intermezzos all able to smoothly mix with the real life videos made earlier by the videomaker.
